Harbour Bridge
If you cross the harbour bridge from Tauranga, you will find Mount Maunganui. The white sandy beaches and turquoise blue sea attract thousands of international and local holidaymakers every year. A walk up Mount Mauao (Mt Maunganui) is a must to enjoy the incredible views over the bay. Mauao is 232 metres high and attracts experienced climbers as well as paragliders. The incredible panorama makes every activity around and on the mountain an unforgettable experience. On the way back, you can treat yourself to a Danish ice cream or a cool drink at one of the many beach cafés on the mountain.
